Rimmel ScandalEyes Eye Shadow Sticks are creamy, easy to apply eyeshadow pencils. There are a total of nine shades, two of which have a matte finish and the rest of the range being shimmer based. Generally speaking I’m not a big fan of eyeshadow sticks, but I quite like these. Each shade has high pigment, which is easy to build up or sheer down depending on your preferred look and they can also work well as eyeliners. In terms of application I love that these are so easy to apply and using just one shade can give a polished, “I look like I spent 30 minutes on my eyeshadow this morning”look. However, one thing that did irritate me with these eyeshadows is that, despite being easy to apply there was some inconsistency in terms of even application. Majority of the shades applied well in this range, but the darker shades and matte shades did have a tendency to apply unevenly. As someone with oily eyelids I found the staying power to be incredibly poor, without an eyeshadow primer these were lucky to last 45 minutes on my eyelids without showing signs of creasing and fading which was a real disappointment. All in all I really like these eyeshadow sticks, but they could do with some improvements. Whilst the shades are great and have fantastic pigmentation the staying power and unevenness in application really need some work.

001 Witness White is a pale, pearlescent cool white shade which would work great as a base for other shadows or a inner corner highlight. This shade was slightly more sheer than others in the range and also had a tendency to apply unevenly.
002 Bulletproof Beige is a pretty golden champagne shade, not only would this shade look beautiful on the eyes, but it would also make great face highlighter on darker skintones.
003 Bad Bronze Girl is a gorgeous rich, mahogany based bronze shade. This shade was slightly creamier than other shades in the range, but great nevertheless.

Guilty Grey is a shimmery gunmetal grey shade which would be great for creating quick smoky eyes (just add some liner & mascara!) but can apply unevenly.
006 Paranoid Purple is a darkened violet purple shade that almost leans eggplant. Although this shade can apply a little patchy I think it is gorgeous and would look great on green or hazel eyes.
008 Blackmail is a deep matte black shade. This shade did tend to apply, but would work great as an eyeliner or for adding smokiness to certain looks.
009 Blamed Blue is a fabulous, bold aquatic blue shade. This shade is my favourite out of the range and perfect for adding a pop of colour. This shade looks really beautiful on brown eyes.

Bluffing is a pretty cool toned taupe based copper shade. I personally love this shade and think it gives plenty of high-end brands a run for their money.
015 Trespassing Taupe is a matte taupe shade, great for adding definition to the crease of the eye and can even be used for contouring the face. Like Blackmail this shade also applied more unevenly than the shades with shimmer.
