If there’s one product I think everyone should own, it’s a multi-tasking
cream that you can use all over your face. Whether it’s a specific
product like the Bite Beauty MultiStick, *Charlotte Tilbury Beach Stick
or *Nudestix Nudies Stick or just a nice creamy lipstick, something that is a natural looking shade that
flatters your skintone is a must-have. Use it on your eyes, lips, cheeks
and in any place where you want to give your skin a glow. Use it on
multiple areas of your face at once, or on your lips one day and your
eyes the other. Keep reading to see how you can use one product to create a little magic and give your makeup a subtle, easy, monochromatic effect.

Eyes
Sheer creams can work great on the eyes, they may not be the most long lasting (creasing is inevitable) but for a gorgeous soft and monochromatic look a little cream applied on the eyelids is great for providing a wash of colour and tying everything together. Apply directly to the eyelids and blend out by using a tapping motion with your fingertips and soften any edges with a synthetic eyeshadow brush.
Lips
The most popular way in which to use this style of product is on the lips. Apply the product directly to the lips from the bullet and leave full colour or use your fingertips to gently pat the product into the lips to make it look more natural.

Cheekbones
Dependent on the colour you use (in this case select a colour that is relatively neutral, stay away from anything overly red or pink) this style of product is also great for adding some definition to the face. Don’t confuse this with contouring, instead think of it more as re-defining and shaping. Apply slightly above the hollow of the cheekbones and blend in-towards the cheeks using your fingers or a brush to make the face look more chiseled and give a slightly bronzed effect to your makeup.
Cheeks
Finally there is nothing like a gorgeous rosy glow on the cheeks, simply apply a small amount of the product onto the center of the cheeks and blend up and out with your fingertips, if you need more colour you can add more as you go along.
