Trilogy Make-Up Be Gone Cleansing Balm
Trilogy are one of my favourite skincare brands, they do so many beautiful products which are really kind to the skin and this product is no exception. Not a oil or a cream this makeup remover is of a balm consistency and is super effective at removing makeup. From waterproof eyeliner, mascara, long-wearing lipstick and heavy foundation this breaks up every last spot of makeup, is gentle on the eyes and leaves skin feeling supple and hydrated.
Boscia Makeup Breakup Cool Cleansing Oil
One of the few natural/organic cleansing oils which manages to get milky, the Boscia Makeup Break Up Cool Cleansing Oil is specifically dedicated to makeup removal. It’s effective and doesn’t leave a film on the skin (like many do) The cooling sensation may be irritating to those with sensitive skin and it can sometimes irritate the eyes because of this effect.
NUDE Skincare Perfect Cleansing Oil
This product was my first ever introduction to cleansing oils (and the NUDE brand) and I’m so glad that it was. Although the brand changes the name more often than I can keep up with, this cleansing oil effectively removes makeup without drying out the skin.
Bioderma Sensibio h2o Micellar Water
My all-time favourite skincare product/cleanser/makeup remover, Bioderma holds cult status when it comes to micellar waters. Many brands try and make their own versions but in my opinion nothing comes close to the original, created by Bioderma. This light, refreshing and water-like product is literally like a magnet for makeup, dirts and oil on the skin. Use it with a cotton pad (micellar technology only works with cotton) wipe your face and be amazed at how much stuff accumulates in your pores. It’s my favourite product for double cleansing and combined with the trilogy is the ultimate combination for removing makeup.
Lancome Bi-Facial Eye Makeup Remover
This is one of the most popular eye makeup removers to date, one of the first popular products with bi-phase technology this eye makeup remover isn’t my favourite nor one that I reach for on a regular basis but if Bioderma won’t get your long-wearing liner or mascara off (personally something I’ve never had an issue with) this is your best bet. It’s very effective without the need to continuously scrub your eyes till the point they are red.
