Without the right tools your makeup isn’t going to look the best that it can possibly be. Good quality brushes are essential for creating a flawless face and the right ones should help make your makeup application process quicker and easier. Now good quality brushes don’t necessarily have to be expensive ones, in-fact some of my all-time favourite brushes come from the very affordable Beau-Make brand.

Beau-Make Flat Top Synthetic Kabuki Brush

Remember when everyone was going bananas over the Sigma Flat Top Kabuki Brush? Well whilst they were paying $25+ for it, I was only paying $11 for something just as good (if not better) The Beau-Make Flat Top Synthetic Kabuki Brush is one of my all-time favourite brushes for applying foundation, it buffs foundation into the skin beautifully and leaves you with the most incredible finish (to the point people will straight out compliment you on your skin)

Models Prefer Professional Airbrush Concealer Brush

Whilst I’m a big believer in using your fingers to blend concealer into the skin, sometimes you just need that finishing touch to make it look perfect. TheModels Prefer Professional Airbrush Concealer Brush (Sephora do a similar one) is a staple in my everyday makeup application process, it buffs out concealer without removing and absorbing too much product and truly does give an airbrush finish to the skin.

Real Techniques Bold Metals 301 Flat Contour Brush

Given that these are Real Techniques and synthetic I believe this brush to be extremely over priced, but either way, I love it. As someone who uses cream contouring every day this brush does a perfect job at cutting my blending time in half by buffing product into the skin making it look seamless and natural.

Beau-Make Small White Sheep Powder Brush

I don’t always powder my face, but when I do it’s with this brush. I’m not a fan of the overly powdered look and thanks to the long, soft and low-density of this brush I never have to worry about looking like I dipped my face in a whole heap of translucent powder. This brush is perfect for gently patting powder over the skin or for dusting off excess after using a powder puff.

Beau-Make Eye Highlighting Brush

This brush may be classed as an eye highlighting brush, but in my opinion its way too big for that, it is however, fantastic for highlighting the cheekbones. This brush is the perfect density and shape for giving you Victoria Secret-esque cheekbones. I dare you to find a better brush for highlighting, I dare you.

Beau-Make Squirrel Fan Blending Brush

For Beau Make this a little more expensive than the brands other brushes, but it’s no surprise why. The quality of this brush is incredible, all the bristles are super soft and feel like silk on the skin. This is one of my favourite brushes for contouring as the bristles are long, soft, and not overly dense meaning the brush picks up the perfect amount of product for a natural looking contour.

Beau-Make Apple Cheeks Blush Brush

I like to class this brush as one of my all-round brushes because you can do just about anything face-related with it. It’s perfect for applying blush (duh!) but it is also a small enough shape that it fits underneath the cheekbones for contouring. It’s also one of my favourite brushes for “spot powdering” (only applying powder to my t-zone)
