Nowadays everyone wants “brows on fleek” it can be difficult enough as it is shaping them, filling them in and finding the perfect brow product, never-lone trying to find the perfect shade.
Shade
The first step is to find your perfect brow shade, ideally your brow pencil/powder/gel/whichever product you decide to use to fill them in should match your brow colour. As a general guide the colour of your brow product should be one shade lighter than your hair colour or if you’re a blonde, one shade darker.

Tone
Some brands will give you an option such as “warm brown” or “cool brown” others will not, generally I always recommend opting for cool toned brow products unless you’re a red. I find that warm toned brow products can sometimes look unflattering and orangey (and let’s face it, who wants orange eyebrows?) Anastasia Beverly Hills have a great mix of warm and cool toned brow products which are worth checking out. However, other brands like Benefit do not give you any option and can often look warm toned and unnatural.

Universal Products
If all else fails and you just can’t find the perfect shade for you some brands have “universal, one shade fits all” style products. Whilst ultimately these are not the best option out there, they do get the job done. Try a product like *It Cosmetics Brow Power Universal Brow Pencil or a palette/duo like Too Faced Brow Envy Brow Shaping & Defining Kit which contains different shades you can mix together to create a perfect match.
