Maybelline Master Hi-Light Blush & Bronzers: 20 Pink Rose, 30 Light Coral, 50 Light Bronze, 60 Dark Bronze

Maybelline Master Hi-Light Blush & Bronzers: 20 Pink Rose, 30 Light Coral, 50 Light Bronze, 60 Dark Bronze.

Maybelline Master Hi-Light Powders are shimmery, frosted blush and bronzer powders available in four shades (two blushes and two bronzers) These powders have great pigment for a drugstore brand so a light hand and a small amount of product is all that is needed to apply. Despite appearing super shimmery and frosty in the pan on the cheeks these blushes translate to a gorgeous pearly sheen instead of glittery and over the top which I love. The bronzers were a disappointment on the finish front as I found the shimmer looked more obvious and glittery on the face. These powders have a really gorgeous “mosaic” design to them, which is incredibly pleasing to the eye and also means you get a really pretty three dimensional colour to the cheeks, you can even use a small brush to apply some of the shades individually as eyeshadows or highlighter on the highest points of the face. Finally, I really love that these powders don’t “feel” cheap, they are extremely finely milled which means you get a really beautiful colour on the cheeks and they remind me of high end powders in many ways. All in all I really love the blushes in the range, they’re beautifully pigmented and look amazing on the cheeks, but as someone who prefers matte bronzers I found the bronzing powders in the range were a miss for me.

20 Pink Rose is a gorgeous cool toned rosy pink shade that would flatter all skintones.

30 Light Coral is a summery peachy coral shade and my favourite out of the range. This shade would look best on lighter skintones, but would still suit all skintones

50 Light Bronze is a bronzey, shimmery champagne shade that would work well as a highlighter on medium to dark skintones.

60 Dark Bronze is a reddish brown bronzer shade with noticeable shimmer, best used as an eyeshadow or on darker skintones as a blush/bronzer.
