Lanolips Tinted Lip Ointments with Colour are sheer, moisturizing tinted lip balms. Inspired by the original Lanolips 101 formula which is made with 100% pure medical grade lanolin these tinted lip balms provide the same great hydration & nourishment as the original formula. There are a total of five shades in the range, but some shades do come and go and limited edition shades are often introduced. In the tubes these lip ointments look extremely bright and pigmented, but on the lips there isn’t an awful lot of colour pay off and many of the colours look similar. The lasting power of these isn’t great, but I don’t expect eight hours of wear with a tinted lip balm. Like the original Lanolips formula these have a very thick, sticky texture that some people may not like, but I don’t mind because of their moisturising properties. Overall I think these are lovely tinted lip balms for adding a hint of colour to the lips whilst providing loads of moisture and they’d be great for wearing in the Summer and Winter.

Dark Honey is a very sheer berry shade with no shimmer which would suit lighter skin tones best.
Apples is a pretty sheer redwith no shimmer, it is the most pigmented shade in the range, but can accentuate dryness on the lips. This shade would suit all skin tones.
Rose is a pale dusty pink shade with fine shimmer which on the lips looks extremely similar to dark honey. It would suit lighter skin tones best.
Rhubarb is a gorgeous deep red based pink shade with fine shimmer. This is my favourite shade out of the range and would suit light to medium skin tones best.
Sunshine is a beautiful sheer, summery coral orange shade with no shimmer. This shade would compliment all skin tones, especially light to medium.
