I’m often “brows”ing for new and exciting brow products to try (especially on a drugstore level) and I’ve found quite a few that I like. Pencils have gotten a bad rep in recent years and we’ve been taught to opt for a powder instead beach it looks softer, but I’ve always loved a good brow pencil.
NYX Auto Eyebrow Pencil
I didn’t have very high expectations for this product, but decided just to try it anyway and I was pleasantly surprised. This brow pencil has quickly become one of my favourites, it has a really nice firm texture and the formula is almost like a powder (I don’t like creamy brow pencils) the formula is pigmented, but not too pigmented and shade range is great. I also really like the edge of the pencil, it’s nice and thick, but still thin enough to give a precise edge A+
*L’Oreal Colour Riche Eyebrow Pencil
Another favourite brow pencil of mine! This pencil gives a really nice finish to the brows, the formula is firm, but not too firm and it has a nice powdery finish that looks super natural. The shade range is poor, but other than that it’s a great brow pencil (and also rumored to be a dupe for Lancome’s Le Crayon Poudre)
