TheBalm Lou-Manizers: Mary Lou-Manizer, Cindy Lou-Manizer Betty Lou-Manizer
TheBalm Lou-Manizers are shimmery multi-tasking powders which are designed to be used as highlighters, eyeshadows and bronzers. Mary and Cindy Lou-Manizers are designed to highlight whilst Betty Lou-Manizer is designed to be used as a bronzer. These powders are very finely milled and have a gorgeous buttery texture and they blend beautifully into the skin. Unlike some other illuminators these don’t contain glitter or overly intense shimmer they just give a really nice pearly sheen to the skin. There is absolutely no pigmentation spared in these as what colour you see is exactly what you get, however sometimes they’re perhaps a little too pigmented and can look overly noticeable on the skin so it’s best to use a fan brush to apply. In terms of staying power I didn’t notice any fading or oxidizing with these, but makeup fading isn’t a huge issue for me. Overall I think these look amazing and are perfect for giving you that Victoria Secret glow. The formula blends beautifully into the skin and the powders are so buttery they’re almost like a cream/powder hybrid. I think these are beautiful highlighters, you just need to use them sparingly.
TheBalm Lou-Manizer Swatches Mary Lou-Manizer, Cindy Lou-Manizer and Betty Lou-Manizer
Mary Lou-Manizer is a gorgeous shimmery golden champagne shade. It is extremely pigmented and works beautifully as a eyeshadow. It would suit all skintones from very fair to very deep.
Cindy Lou-Manizer is a peachy pink shade. Compared to the other shades this is a little sheerer but still has amazing pigmentation. It would suit fair to medium skintones best but could easily be worn by all skintones.
Betty Lou-Manizer is a golden shimmery bronze shade. Unlike Mary and Cindy this shade is designed to be a bronzer instead of a highlighter. It would not be suitable for contouring due to the high shimmer content and those with a deep skintone may find it too light to be used as a bronzer.
