Back to The Basics: Mascara

A mascara is a thick cream product applied with a brush designed to add volume, length and definition to the lashes.

Mascara’s come in a range of colours from natural shades like black and brown to blue, pink, grey, green and yellow but black is the most common shade.

The purpose of a mascara is to add the appearance of length and volume to the lashes and darken the appearance of them to help the eyes appear more defined. Mascara will not give you the same effect as false lashes but when used with a lash primer it can give very big results.
