Maybelline Big Eyes Eyestudio Quad's are sparkly budget friendly eyeshadows that are great for those who are just starting to experiment with different makeup products. These eyeshadow quads come in neutral and bold colours so there is something for everybody. These eyeshadows are as the shade names suggest: VERY shimmery and sparkly so if you are a fan of matte eyeshadows and hate shimmer you may want to give these a miss. In terms of quality these eyeshadows are pretty good - they are slightly buttery (although a big powdery) and most of the shades are semi-pigmented and apply smoothly. I'm personally not a fan of the packaging - although they look pretty I would prefer the shadows to be standard square pans - not oddly shaped. These eyeshadow quads remind me A LOT of the “Hyper Diamonds” eyeshadow palettes in terms of quality and colour selection. Overall these Maybelline Big Eyes Eye Studio Quads are good for the price and if you are someone wanting to experiment with new products or can't get hold of Wet N Wild Eyeshadows.

Maybelline Big Eyes Eye Studio Quad in 01 Luminous Brown is a neutral eyeshadow quad which contains a shimmery egg shell shade, perfect for highlighting, a shimmery champagne, a shimmery peach shade and a shimmery medium brown shade. This quad has good pigmentation (comapred to the other palettes) and all the shades apply pretty evenly and smoothly.

Maybelline Big Eyes Eye Studio Quad in 02 Luminous Grass is an eyeshadow quad with bold shades. It contains a frosty white shade, a shimmery pale yellow and green and a light taupe shade with a hint of shimmer. The shades in this quad are semi pigmented (although do have a tendency to appear slightly chalky and apply unevenly)

Maybelline Big Eyes Eye Studio Quad in 03 Luminous Turquoise is a eyeshadow quad with bold shades and makes me think of frosty shadows from the ’80s. This palette contains a frosty white eyeshadow, a pale lilac shade, a light, frosty blue and a shimmery grey. The shadows in this quad have average pigmentationand most of the shades apply evenly (except for shade 4, the grey)

Maybelline Big Eyes Eye Studio Quad in 04 Luminous Blue is a pastel, blue eyeshadow palette that (again) makes me think of the ’80s this palette contains a pale, frosty off white, a light, frosty blue, a light frosty sky blue and a semi-matte brown shade. The shades in this palette have average pigmentation and apply pretty smoothly.

Maybelline Big Eyes Eye Studio Quad in 05 Luminous Purple is the most disappointing quad out of the 5 avaliable. It contains a frosty, purple based white shade, a pastel yellow, a semi-matte dark, electric purple and a shimmery, sheer medium lilac shade. Shade 2 and 4 had pretty poor pigmentation and shade 3 (the purple) applied very unevenly.
