Makeup Brush Techniques

Buffing: Liquid & Cream Foundation, Mineral Foundation, Concealer, Cream Eyeshadow, Cream/Gel Blush, Bronzer and contour.

Painting: Any face product (use a synthetic foundation brush for creams and a powder brush for powders)

Stippling: Liquid/Cream Foundation, Cream/Liquid Concealer and Cream/Liquid/Gel Blush. Can also be gently brushed over the skin to tone down heavy foundation or bright blush and bronzer/contour.

Rolling: Setting Powder

Patting: Setting powder, any formula of eyeshadow and any other cream based product.

Drawing: Eyeshadow (for creating a crease/outer v on the eye)

Windscreen Wiping: Blending Eyeshadow, Setting concealer under the eyes with powder.

Smudging: Eyeliner & Eyeshadow.

Light Feathering Strokes: Eyeliner, Brow Products and Lipstick.
