It’s a well-known fact that I’m a devotee of natural and organic skincare, but there is one thing that I’m willing to cross the line for, and that is French skincare. I’m a lover of all things French, but their skincare in particular really has that certain je ne sais quoi

Bioderma Sensibio h2o Micellar Water Dry Sensitive Skin Makeup Tips

Bioderma Sensibio h2o Micellar Water

The holy grail of skincare products, Bioderma Sensibio h2o is my go-to product when  it comes to removing makeup and I’ve been using it almost daily for the past three years. Gentle and effective this micellarmiracle water is like a magnet for removing dirts and oils from the skin.

Avene Skin Recovery Cream

With 0 preservatives, parabens, fragrance and alcohol this gentle cream is made up primarily of Avene Thermal water to help soothe sensitive skin. Packaged in a squeeze tube a small hole pops up and dispenses product before closing to ensure no bacteria enters the tube and messes with the product (and ultimately, your skin) Whenever my skin is itchy and red or had a nasty reaction to something I slather this on before bed and my skin is promptly restored to its healthy state.

La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo in use makeup tips

La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo +

I don’t get breakouts often, but when I do I reach for this treatment from La Roche Posay. Able to be used all over the skin or just in certain areas this anti-acne, anti-blackhead treatment clears up breakouts within a day without drying out the skin or irritating it further. I alternate between this and the Avene Cleanance Expert (which I also love)

Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse Multi-Purpose Dry Oil

Back to my passion on natural skincare Nuxe is the best of both worlds by being both natural and French.  The fragrance may be on the cusp of being overly floral for some, but this Nuxe oil is one of those products that you just need in your collection. Use it as a body oil or on your hair or just seep in its fragrance and wear it almost as a perfume.

How to use uriage thermal water

Uriage Thermal Water

Thermal water isn’t just water in a can, it’s fancy water in a can. Fancy water packed full of minerals, this isn’t your water from your bathroom sink, that’s for sure. I love using this to soothe sensitive and irritated skin, before moisturiser to give a boost of hydration and throughout the day to remove any cakiness from makeup.
